The thermal experience consists of alternating hot, cold and rest to eliminate toxins, stimulate blood circulation and increase the heart rate to feel a sense of well-being.
It is recommended to repeat this cycle 3 to 4 times for an optimal thermal experience.

We provide 2 towels per guest as well as a locker. You must bring your bathing suit and beach sandals. You can also bring your bathrobe or rent one at the reception desk. We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle (no glass container); water fountains are available on the site.
We also suggests to bring a book, sunglasses, and sunscreen in the summer. In winter, also bring a tuque.
The site is reserved for people aged 16 and over, with the exception of family mornings where we welcome children from the age of 5.
We do not take reservations for the thermal experience. Reservation is only required for massages.
Please note that in order to maintain a relaxing environment and preserve the quality of the experience, access to the spa may be limited, which could result in a waiting period.
The thermal experience takes place year-round, rain or shine. However, in case of a storm, the baths may be closed temporarily.

Yes, we offer massages adapted for pregnant women. However, the thermal experience is not recommended during the entire pregnancy.
Usva Spa Nordik honors valid gift certificates, regardless of the expiry date. However, after one year from the date of purchase, it is only valid for its monetary value.

You can cancel and / or reschedule your massage without charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. A cancellation fee of $ 95 plus tax applies if cancellation is made within 24 hours.
All our massage therapists are accredited. They can issue receipts for insurance purposes. Insurance receipts cannot be issued when paying with a gift certificate.
Reservations are required for massages and we recommend that you book at least two weeks in advance for better availability. You can book online or by phone at 1-855-SPA-USVA. A credit card number will be required to confirm the reservation. Please note that you can enjoy a massage even if you do not want to enjoy the thermal experience.
If you are taking medications or have particular health problems (such as cancer), it is better to avoid therapeutic treatments. A note from your doctor may be requested by your massage therapist. You must communicate your health status with the therapist, including providing specific answers on the health form. We ask all our customers to fill out this form before their massage. The thermal experience may present risks for people with angina, respiratory or heart problems, diabetes, hyper or hypotension, especially when these conditions are considered to be serious and / or uncontrolled. In doubt, ask your doctor for advice.
All our massage therapists work professionally, with the utmost respect for each individual. Be assured that you will be covered at all times by a sheet to respect your privacy. Only the area to be massaged is uncovered. It is best to receive a massage when no clothes are worn, but we respect the choice of our customers who prefer to keep their underwear.
