Main functions:

Under the Massage Therapy Manager’s responsibility, the employee acts as a self-employed person within the massage therapy team. He/she is responsible for welcoming clients and proceeding with the massage therapy treatment. He/she offers advice on the different types of massages offered and ensures he/she meets the standards of Usva Spa Nordik’s customer service.

 

Job description:

  • Administer massage techniques to the guests according to the protocol established by the company;
  • Ensure the comfort and well-being of the guests;
  • Explain and suggest procedures and treatment to guests;
  • Answer questions from guests and ensure excellent customer service;
  • Issue the insurance receipt;
  • Organize and maintain the workplace and massage rooms;
  • Ensure cleanliness of the premises;
  • Perform any other related duties requested by his immediate supervisor or expected of this position.

 

Job requirements:

  • Bilingualism is essential (French and English);
  • Have completed a minimum of 2,200 hours in a recognized institution;
  • Be a member in good standing of a recognized massage therapy professional association in New Brunswick (provide proof of certification with your resume);
  • Have professional liability insurance;
  • Relevant experience in customer service is an asset;
  • Knowledge of other languages ​​is an asset;
  • Have completed or successfully complete in the week following the hiring the Usva practice training;
  • Versatile, responsive and proactive personality;
  • Team work oriented;
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills;
  • Team work oriented;
  • Positive attitude.

 

Work schedule:

Variable schedule. Day, evening and weekend.

 

Salary:

According to the current salary scale established by the company.

Main functions:

Under the Experience Manager’s responsibility, the employee is in charge of the water quality and maintenance of the pools and saunas to obtain high quality standard facilities for our guests.

 

Job description:

  • Ensure the proper functioning of the pools’ and saunas’ operational systems (filtration, heating, air conditioning, controls, etc.) and perform preventive maintenance;
  • Calibrate, adjust, modify and program various operational systems of the facilities, pools and saunas;
  • Conduct daily checks of the equipment and installations of pools and saunas (pressures, filters, lights, temperatures, water levels, oil, chemicals and cleaners, etc.);
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the mechanical and electrical rooms, workshops, warehouses and other premises;
  • Ensure the cleanliness and daily maintenance of the outdoor premises;
  • Perform the required operations tests;
  • Respond to customer requests;
  • Perform any other related duties requested by the immediate supervisor or expected of this position.

 

Job requirements:

  • Diploma of Secondary Education;
  • Hold or be in the process of obtaining a current WHMIS (WorkSafeNB Hazardous Material Information Systems) accreditation recognized by WorkSafeNB;
  • Canadian Red Cross first aid and CPR training is an asset;
  • Knowledge of New Brunswick Health and Safety regulation is an asset;
  • Knowledge of New Brunswick Fire Prevention regulations is an asset;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset;
  • Ability to do manual and technical work;
  • Like challenges;
  • Be persevering and autonomous;
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit ;
  • Have a sense of organization and attention to detail;
  • Able to work under pressure;
  • Have completed or successfully complete in the week following the hiring, a Usva practices training;
